High-quality dental care should fit comfortably within everyone’s budget, and that is why Dr. Contestable and our team are pleased to accept dental insurance and offer convenient financing options to help our patients pay for our already affordable exceptional care. Dental Insurance and Coverage
We welcome patients with PPO dental plans, Medicare Advantage plans, and Humana dental HMO plans. Benefits, dentist-network rules, referrals, and your share of the cost depend on your specific plan. Accepting a plan does not guarantee that every service is covered or that our dentists are in-network for every policy.
All PPO Dental Plans
We work with all PPO dental plans and can file claims for any PPO policy. We are in-network with a number of insurers, but your particular PPO may use a different network or pay different rates for out-of-network visits. We will help check your benefits and estimated costs before treatment.
All Medicare Advantage Plans
We accept patients with all Medicare Advantage plans. Dental benefits vary by plan, and some plans have network, referral, authorization, or annual benefit limits. Please call us with the name of your plan so we can verify its dental benefits and how they apply at our office before making coverage promises. Original Medicare generally does not cover routine dental care; Medicare Advantage is different.
DentaQuest Medicaid Dental
We welcome patients with DentaQuest Medicaid dental coverage. Please call (352) 357-4588 with your DentaQuest plan information before booking so our team can confirm eligibility, dentist assignment or network participation, covered services, and any authorization requirements. Coverage and availability depend on your specific Florida Medicaid dental plan.
Humana Dental HMO
We also welcome patients with Humana dental HMO plans. Because HMO rules can depend on your exact plan and assigned dentist, please call before booking. Our team will check network participation, any dentist assignment or referral requirements, covered services, and expected costs.
VA Community Care
We are partnered with VA Community Care for dental patients. VA community dental care must be authorized in advance. Please ask your VA care team for a referral and authorization for this office, then call us so we can confirm the approved services and arrange your visit. A VA card or veteran status alone does not authorize covered dental treatment.
Bring your insurance card or VA authorization information when you visit. We can help verify benefits, explain payment options, and file eligible claims; final coverage and patient costs depend on your plan and approved treatment.
Here’s how it works:
- We submit your insurance claim for you at the time of your dental visit.
- We will follow up with your dental insurance company to ensure your claim is processed in a timely manner.
- This is a complimentary service we extend to all of our valued patients.
Dental Discount Plans and Membership
We welcome patients with dental discount plans through Careington, Cigna, and Solstice. These plans are not dental insurance: the services and reduced fees available depend on your specific plan. Call (352) 357-4588 with your plan details before your visit so our team can confirm participation and explain which discounts apply. Discounts may not be combined with insurance or other offers; we will check the terms of your plan.
For patients without dental insurance, our in-office Annual Reduced Fee Membership plan offers reduced fees on a specified list of services. Memberships start at $395 a year. This is a practice discount plan, not dental insurance; ask our team which services and savings apply before enrolling.
CareCredit Financing
CareCredit is a third-party financier that works like a credit card reserved solely for your medical and dental expenses. Simply swipe it at the time of your appointment and then make payments at the previously-determined rate that suits you and your budget best. Most people are approved for CareCredit!
